2023 Canada Games is Hitting the Road with PEI Mutual to Host Community Celebrations Across the Island

Charlottetown, PE (November 1, 2022) — The 2023 Canada Winter Games Host Society is pleased to launch PEI Mutual Road to the Games – a series of community celebrations that showcases the rich history, diversity, and culture of Island communities.

“We are very excited to work with PEI Mutual in such a significant and impactful way as we hit the road together on the final journey to the 2023 Canada Winter Games, said Jonathan Ross, Volunter VP, Sponsorship and Revenue Generation. “The Road to the Games celebrations amplify our Torch program and we invite Islanders to get into the Games spirit by attending these free events.”

The community celebrations, presented by PEI Mutual Insurance Company, will consist of a series of 18 events from tip-to-tip in small communities across the province. Each celebration will showcase PEI’s vibrant arts and culture scene, featuring food, homegrown talent, and musical performances.

“PEI Mutual and our entire team are excited for this opportunity to partner with the 2023 Canada Games,” said Craig Noonan, CEO, PEI Mutual. “Our partnership in the Road to the Games Community Celebrations is an excellent opportunity to generate excitement and collaboration throughout our Island communities from tip to tip in the lead up to the Games. Please join us in getting the Island ready to host this amazing group of next generation athletes and leaders in February.”
