MBS Radio becomes Official Media Partner for the 2023 Canada Games

The 2023 Canada Winter Games Host Society is excited to welcome MBS Radio and its Island stations CFCY, MAX-FM, and SPUD FM, as an Official Media Partner for the PEI 2023 Games.

MBS Radio is a progressive broadcasting and high quality radio service that operates 24 radio stations across the Maritimes with over 1 million potential listeners, every week. Through radio personalities, stations, network of websites and social media platforms, MBS will share the 2023 Canada Winter Games with every corner of the East Coast.

“We’re delighted to partner with the 2023 Canada Games as they bring the Games to PEI,” said James Goudreau, General Manager for PEI. “As a maritime owned and operated business, our Island-based team is ready to share the excitement of the Games, while helping to deliver awareness and engagement on-air.”

As an Official Media Partner, MBS Radio’s CFCY, SPUD FM and MAX-FM will engage with their loyal listeners, profiling the 2023 Games through brand integration with the Saturday Night Hoedown, Summer Cruiser visits, contesting and giveaways. MBS will also provide direct access to sports fans through their existing partnership with the Charlottetown Islanders.

“We are excited to partner with MBS Radio, a locally owned and trusted radio network, that has been providing Islanders and Atlantic Canadians with up-to-date information for many years,” said Wayne Carew and Brian McFeely, Board Co-Chairs, 2023 Canada Winter Games. “The partnership with MBS will help us reach key markets in neighboring provinces, allowing us to increase off-Island engagement and awareness of the 2023 Canada Winter Games .”

The 2023 Canada Games is made possible thanks to the Government of Canada, the Province of Prince Edward Island, and community-minded supporters like MBS Radio.
