In order to host the largest event in the province’s history, the 2023 Canada Games Host Society is looking for the enthusiasm, hospitality, and expertise of approximately 5,000 volunteers in a variety of roles to help deliver a life-shaping Games experience for all participants. Over 500 bilingual volunteers will also be recruited to deliver a Games experience in both of Canada’s Official Languages.
Volunteers will receive comprehensive training and orientation, experience in the sports and entertainment industry, a Karbon winter uniform and an accreditation badge.
“This is a pivotal moment in the planning phases for the Games, and we’re very excited to start the volunteer recruitment process,” said Karolyn Godfrey, VP, Vision, Volunteers and Community Relations, 2023 Canada Games Host Society. “Our volunteers are the lifeblood of the Games, and it takes thousands of people working together to plan and support all the athletic and cultural events around the Games.”
