Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island — The 2023 Canada Winter Games Host Society is excited to welcome four new organizations to its growing roster of sponsors: Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL), PEI Mutual Insurance Company, Office Interiors, and DALMAC. All four organizations were welcomed to the Canada Games family at a reception held today at The Rodd Charlottetown.
With a little over 14 months to go until the Canada Winter Games, momentum continues to build as companies from across Atlantic Canada are stepping up to show their support for the 2023 Games. Today’s announcement brings the 2023 Games’ total of confirmed sponsorship to 60 percent of the overall fundraising goal of $8 million.
In addition to receiving significant brand visibility throughout Games-time, each organization plans to leave a lasting impression with communities across PEI leading up to the 2023 Canada Games through strategic fan activations.
ADL – National VIP Contest & Proud Partner of the Athletes Lounge
ADL is giving Canadians a chance to win a VIP trip for two to the 2023 Canada Games in PEI. Launching in early 2022, the national contest will be cross-promoted on select Dairy Isle branded products available at Walmart locations across the country. Canadians will have the opportunity to scan a QR code for a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to PEI which includes VIP accreditations, tickets to the Opening Ceremony, car service and hotel accommodations.
In addition to the national contest, ADL will become the title partner of the Athletes Lounge during Games-time. Aptly named the “ADL Athletes Lounge,” athletes from across the country will be able to relax and recover between competitions while enjoying high-quality cheese and dairy products from ADL.
Hitting the Road with PEI Mutual
PEI Mutual and the 2023 Canada Games have teamed up with the Festival of Small Halls to create a new music and arts festival in the lead-up to the Games.
The concert series, presented by PEI Mutual, will consist of a series of 12 shows in rural communities and small venues across the province. Each show will celebrate PEI’s vibrant arts and culture scene and will feature a local musical performer, in addition to artists from across the country. The concert series is slated to kick off in November 2022.
Sliding into the 2023 Games with Office Interiors
Office Interiors is proud to become the official office equipment supplier for the 2023 Canada Games. Since 1991, Office Interiors has been providing Atlantic Canada with modern office furniture and equipment. Their dedicated team will play a critical role in the delivery of state-of-the-art office equipment and technology for the 2023 Canada Games headquarters, volunteer and registration and accreditation centres.
Office Interiors will activate their partnership at Games-time with prominent logo and branding included on ice resurfacing machines at key competition venues.
DALMAC – Official Print Services Supplier
The 2023 Canada Games is pleased to announce that DALMAC, a leading print services, sign installation and manufacturing company, has become the exclusive print services supplier for the Host Society.
DALMAC will support the Host Society with the production of all marketing materials and business stationery leading up to and during the 2023 Games. They will also play a pivotal role in supporting The Look Company in producing the signage and pageantry which will proudly display the 2023 brand and identity at all Canada Games venues across the province.

Curling in Canada is rich in history, with the first curling club established in Montreal in 1807. This morning, 216 years later, another first in Canadian curling history took place as Mixed Doubles Curling made its Canada Games debut at the Montague Curling Club.
Women’s hockey at the Canada Games returns to P.E.I. where it made its original debut in 1991. In the tournaments since then, numerous Canadian hockey idols have laced up and begun their glorious careers at the Canada Games.
In just six contests this Winter Games, McKenna recorded 29 points including 14 goals, smashing a Canada Games record that stood for 28 years. The previous record for points in a tournament was 27, set by Francois Methot of Quebec in 1995 and tied by Kelsey Tessier of New Brunswick in 2007.
