We believe that everyone involved in sport has the right to participate in a safe and inclusive environment that is free of abuse, harassment or discrimination.
We are committed to ensuring a safe and positive environment within our programs, activities and events. The Canada Games supports equal opportunity, prohibits discriminatory practices and is committed to providing an inclusive environment free from all forms of maltreatment.
An alternate point of contact is available for individuals who wish to make a complaint under the Canada Games Council’s Safe Sport Policies.
Through collaboration and harmonization, the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent Maltreatment in Sport aims to make sport safer for all participants, at all levels of the Canadian sport system.
Policies are in place to ensure a safe and positive environment in which all individuals are treated with respect and fairness.
